It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Catherall on 23rd December. As a valued and long-serving member of the club, John dedicated many years to playing in the Southport LV League. Among his accomplishments was winning the Presidents Cup in 2010. He was highly regarded for his integrity and was well respected within the bowling community.

In his later years, although unable to bowl, John remained an active supporter and frequently attended matches at the club.

Funeral Arrangements

The funeral service for John Catherall will take place at Southport Crematorium on Tuesday, 13th January 2026, at 13:00.
