FROM THE ARCHIVE 3 – 2009

This time we are taking a look back at our club competitions held in 2009. For the second year running we were able to stage four singles handicaps and a random pairs, the Chairman’s Shield. It was the second playing of the doubles and it attracted a bumper turnout of 44 players (22 pairs), which still stands as a record entry for a Hesketh Arms club competition to this day. The winners and runners-up can be seen below :-
