CORONATION CUP
Thank you to those members who supported the Coronation Cup and helped the competition run so smoothly by arranging their matches promptly, ensuring that we were able to complete it on schedule, with a finals day on Saturday. This is the first time we have run a competition in this way and will consider repeating it next season. Any feedback on this would be appreciated. The final day was well-attended on Saturday and the results were as follows :-

ROSE BOWL – SUNDAY 16th AUGUST
The next club competition will be the Rose Bowl, a singles handicap, which will take place next Sunday, 16th August, starting at 12 noon prompt. Please arrive by 11.45 am to allow the draw to take place, ensuring a prompt start. Due to HM Government and BCGBA guidelines, the number of participants in our competitions is currently restricted to 30, which is also the limit to the number of people allowed within the confines of the green. Entry is by pre-booking only and the competition is now full. The list of entries can be seen below. CHAIRMAN’S SHIELD – SATURDAY 22nd AUGUST
Entries are now being taken for the Chairman’s Shield, which will be held on Saturday 22nd August, 12 noon start. This will be a non-random pairs competition, meaning that members can enter as a pair, with another club member of their choice. Again, due to the current restrictions, the number of participants will be limited to 30, i.e. 15 pairs.
