AWARDS EVENING
Members are reminded that the Club’s Awards Evening for the 2022 season will take place on Saturday 21st January (details below). Please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning to attend this event to help with catering arrangements.
GREEN TIDY UP
Thank you to all those who helped with the tidy up at the green last week. We had a great response which makes the task so much easier and is greatly appreciated by the officers and committee.
COMPETITIONS COMMITTEE
As mentioned in previous newsletters, we are setting up a Competitions Committee for the coming season. The response so far has been good, and we have had three members expressing interest. We are happy with the numbers we have got but could accommodate one or two more if anyone else wishes to join this committee. If anyone is interested in becoming involved, or would like more information, please contact :-

CLUB COMPETITIONS
We are again planning a full programme of internal club competitions for our members to take part in. The first of these will be the Spring Pairs, which will be held on Saturday 8th April, starting at 12.00 noon. This will be a random pairs, with pairings drawn on the day. A plate competition will be held for pairs losing in their first game.
The first singles handicap will be the Rose Bowl, which will take place on Sunday 23rd April, again starting at 12.00 noon. A plate competition will also be run at this event.
Dates for the majority of our competitions have now been set, subject to confirmation. Further information and dates will be available at the AGM.
TROPHY ENGRAVING
Many thanks to all those who have assisted by returning trophies to be engraved. All the Club’s main trophies have now been engraved or are away for engraving, so we will be completely up-to-date with this before the start of the 2023 season.
If anyone still has one of the Club’s consolation plates, please bring it along to either the Awards Evening or AGM. Alternatively, please contact Mike Milne to arrange collection.
