SPRING PAIRS
Our first one-day club competition of the season will take place on Saturday 16th April, when we will be playing for the Spring Pairs Trophy. This will be a random doubles, with pairings being drawn on the day. There will be a plate competition for pairs losing in their first game.
Please register at the green by 11.45 am so that we can make the draw in time for a prompt 12.00 pm start.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Many thanks to all those who have paid their 2022 subscription promptly. For those who have yet to pay, please see below for details of how your payment can be made :-
Membership subscription – £30.00
Team Players’ subscription – £45.00
The basic membership subscription is now £30.00. Members playing for one or more of our league teams pay an additional £15.00 i.e. £45.00 in total.

OPEN SINGLES
The Club will be holding an Open Singles competition on Saturday 30th April, starting at 10.00 am. The competition is being sponsored by the Birkdale Insurance Group and has a prize fund of £520. Although the competition is fully subscribed, we have a reserve list in case anyone drops out beforehand. If you are interested in being on this list, please contact Mike Milne (07752352065) or Chris Harding (07761733024).

FORTHCOMING COMPETITION DATES
Sunday 1st May – Blowick Cup Champion of Champions – invitation singles for club competition and merit winners from the 2021 season (12.00 pm start). Spectators, markers and measurers will be very welcome.
Sunday 15th May – Rose Bowl – singles handicap, with plate (12.00 pm start).
Sunday 29th May – Vice-Presidents Pairs Trophy – non-random doubles, enter as a pair. No plate. (12.00 pm start).
Sunday 10th July – President’s Cup – singles handicap, with plate (start time TBC)
Sunday 17th July – Championship Cup – men’s singles, played off scratch – no plate (12.00pm start).
Saturday 30th July – Ladies’ Championship – singles handicap, with early stages being played in a group format. (12.00 pm start).
Dates for our remaining club and open competitions will be posted as soon as possible.
In addition to the competitions already advertised, the Chairman’s Shield, Floodlit Trophy and Last Chance Cup will be held in August / September.
Book Donations
We would welcome book donations for sale at the club to aid club funds.
