I regret to inform you that Jimmy Langley has passed away.
Jim was a Honorary Life Member of our club, and had been a member for many, many years.
Jim looked after our green as greenkeeper and also played in a number of teams.
Jim always had time for novices like myself and told many stories of how bowling used to be in the 1950s. I will miss Jim as no doubt many of you will.
Our thoughts will be with Margaret his wife and we send our deepest condolences to Jim’s family.
