CORONATION CUP UPDATE
The Coronation Cup singles handicap is being played throughout the season and the results of the games that have been played at the time of writing are as follows :-

OPEN SINGLES
The Club’s Open Singles competition, sponsored by the Birkdale Insurance Group, will take place on Saturday 30th April, starting at 10.00am. Although we have a full list of 32 entries, we are still taking names for the reserve list. If interested, please contact Mike Milne (07752352065) or Chris Harding (07761733024).
Spectators on the day will be very welcome and any help with measuring or marking would be greatly appreciated.
BLOWICK CUP – CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS 2022
The second staging of the Club’s Champion of Champions will be held on Sunday 1st May, starting at 12.00 noon, with no practice. All the club competition and merit winners from the 2021 season are invited to take part. The qualifiers are as follows :-

SOUTHPORT FEDERATION
The Southport Federation team start their season on Sunday 24th April, when they play their first match in National League Division 6, having been promoted following last season’s clean sweep of wins. They will be taking on Clwyd Dragons, with the home leg being held at Hesketh Bank Bowling Club. Supporters will be welcome at the game, which starts at 2.00 pm.
The Hesketh Arms is again well-represented, with Ali Adams, Kez Adams, Chris Porter and Fergal Wright all selected to play at Hesketh Bank. Playing in the away leg at Abergele Bowling Club in North Wales will be Andy Draper, Darren Edgerley, Chris Harding, Mike Milne and Mark Wilde.
